The Gold Award is given for "outstanding value" in a product. Reviewer Chris Gill had given a good review to the Rocktron Patchmate Loop 8 rack mount unit in 2009, and now in 2010 he has reviewed the Loop 8 Floor, a slightly newer version of the Patchmate product which featues 8 footswitches in a floor package. Gill wrote that the Patchamte Loop 8 Floor is a "powerful controller" that helps maintian "pristine sound quality no matter how complicated" the rig.
